Track 2-1: One of the earliest demos of "Space Oddity" recorded around January 1969 with John "Hutch" Hutchinson. Previously unreleased. Ⓟ 2009.
Track 2-2: A demo recorded with John "Hutch" Hutchinson in March/April 1969. Sadly, a more exact date is not possible. Previously unreleased. Ⓟ 2009.
Track 2-3: Rare, alternate version featuring the Paul Buckmaster introduction recorded at Trident Studio in June, 1969. Released as the [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/1507501]B-side to "Space Oddity"[/url] in July, 1969. Digital remaster Ⓟ 2003.
Tracks 2-4 to 2-6: Recorded at Studio 2, Aeolian Hall, New Bond Street London. Recorded for the D.L.T. (Dave Lee Travis) Show on October 20th, 1969. "Unwashed And Somewhat Slightly Dazed" was the only recording from this session broadcast at the time, however it has remained unreleased commercially until now. Whilst not broadcast at the time, both "Let Me Sleep Beside You" and "Janine" were previously released on the [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/1327673]Bowie At The Beeb[/url] collection in 2000.

An earlier version was recorded as a possible single B-side at Decca Studios on March 12, 1968. Digital remaster Ⓟ 2009.
Track 2-8: The [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/6376262]original mono single[/url] was released in March 1970 on Mercury Records as the follow-up single to "Space Oddity". 2-15: This Italian version of "Space Oddity", translated as "Lonely Boy, Lonely Girl", was recorded at Morgan Studios on December 20th, 1969 and [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/3773652]released in Italy[/url] in 1970. The single version previously appeared on [url=https://www.discogs.com/master/48991]Bowie Rare LP[/url] on RCA in 1983 [sic; 1982], however this version is previously unreleased. Ⓟ 2009.
