US Soul singer. Born on September 7th 1939, Charleston, Tennessee. His first professional experience came as a pianist for various Florida-based groups including [a=Joe Henderson] and [a=Steve Alaimo] before securing a contract with the [l=Dade Records (2)] and [l=Glades] labels of Florida under the name "Benny Latimore." He signed with [l=Malaco Records] in 1982 and released seven modern Soul albums.
